Viiiictooooria!

The show goes on. We have been on a bus tour! Now we have seen the great ocean road and parts of the Grampians which are beautiful mountains in the inland. The Grampians is called something else in the language of the local Aboriginal tribe, but that name is not used. Silly! That is not the worst thing though. All Aboriginers was killed by the white men when they invaded the area. We had a very good guide that in a very subjective way told stories about what has happened in the past. It really hits you in the heart. In the Grampians there are pictures on the stone-walls made by the Aboriginals, but since not a single one from the local tribe survived the invasion there is no one that can interpret what they mean.

Hmmm... How can we spend so much time on saving penguins when there are groups of humans that are endangered?

Anyway. We met some really nice people on the bus tour. And we have also seen wild koalas, kangaroos and one Echidna. Groovy :) Most of the Kangaroos I saw was on a Quad-bike (small four-wheelers) tour that Toby, an Irish guy and I did in the outback :) I think it is fair to say that it was amazing to drive around in the bush 7 o'clock in the morning among the kangaroos (they were everywhere) and play with the vehicles. The little expedition was lead by the owner of the wildlife camp where we stayed with the group. He had a wonderful accent, kept a cigarett in his mouth most of the time and wore jeans, boots and a blue skirt.(Han var en hel-skon australiensare!) I guess a eqvivalent swede would wear blaklader-pants, checkered (rutig?) shirt and rubber boots.

We are now back in Melbourne. We are staying with M. She is awesome! Looking forward to a week of hot weather (35+) before going back to la Suede on Sunday.

Hettan borde inte vara nagra problem for en erfaren Perthare :)

Ha ha! Skratt! Det låter mer som om du beskriver en skotte än en svensk. Rutig kjol.... Nu har du allt blandat ihop dina kjolar och skjortor. Honest mistake! :)
