Blog post written 7th of november: I am having a great time with my third host family. Today one week has gone by already. I have been playing with the kids, hanging out with my "host-mother" who is a stay home mom, going to work with ross who is an extension agent and meeting ross family that lives near by. I am enjoying my time here among the swiss settlers of bern near the nebraska border, yes, i have been over the border just for the sake of it :-). Other Highlights include pear tree in the back yard, wind turbins, visiting extension offices, experiencing achievement nights (where 4h members and volunteers are rewarded for the past year), roller scating at a 4h club meeting, tour at the local dog feed mill, cornbread, sweetcorn and meeting wonderful people! In the picture i am standing among the people after todays achievement night. Just det ja, minns ni lucky luke magasinet som handlade om ponny expressen? Jag har sett en äkta ponny express station, den fanns alltså på riktigt :-)!

The third host family had a great time having you here as well. Hope you were able to experience many of the things you had hoped to while being here. We are all hopeful you made it home safe and sound. Going to try to post this since you said you've not had many do that from the states.
