God Jul!
Merry Christmas!
I just love the swedish word for christmas. The same word is in English - Yuletide. It is a medieval word and is researched to mean "party" or "celebration". I think it is interesting that we are using a viking-word for a christinan celabration. One can certainly imaginge that the church had a hard time introducing christianity in the dark nordic countries :)
Anyway. God Jul!
Jul = Ham, tomte, snow, candles, Donald Duck, Cabbage, Pickled herring, Mustard, Presents, red tablecloths, meat balls, Julgran.
Let us conquer the long dark nights!
